Astrid is a Certified Gestalt Therapist, trained at the Gestalt Center for Psychotherapy, and received her Master of Social Work from Columbia University. She has been a social worker for 20 years. After several years working as a clinical social worker with children and families in East Harlem, Chinatown and the South Bronx, she opened her private psychotherapy practice in New York City in 2006.
